To encourage water conservation, the Water Efficiency Rebate Program is funded, in part, by a grant from the Metropolitan Council to establish a program to reduce municipal water use in both residential and commercial properties within the city.

Effective June 28, 2024, rebates are available for 75% of the cost of the item, up to a maximum of:

  • $100 for WaterSense labeled Toilets
  • $100 for Energy Star labeled Washing Machines
  • $100 for Energy Star labeled residential Dishwashers
  • $100 for WaterSense labeled Showerheads

Rebates are available on a first come basis until the funding is exhausted or until June 30, 2026. Only devices that were purchased on or after June 28, 2024, are eligible for a rebate.
