Snow Emergencies

Anytime there is a snowfall of at least two inches, a snow emergency will automatically be in effect without a declaration from the City.

Per Robbinsdale City Code section 1305.09, parking is prohibited on public streets, highways, and alleys in the city and on property owned or leased by the city during snow emergencies. Parking may not resume on a street, highway, or alley until it has been plowed and the snow removed to the curb line. Any vehicle parked on an unplowed street during a snow emergency may be ticketed and/or towed.

The City of Robbinsdale may still declare a parking emergency during an extreme weather event, such as freezing rain, extreme ice, etc.
