The Robbinsdale Parks Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the City's fourteen parks totaling 110 acres, as well as park development, improvement projects, and operations. Park development and acquisition funding is provided through the City's general fund, various grants, and donations from civic and non-profit community groups. Lakeview Terrace Park (LVT) - 3769 Crystal Lake Blvd.
This is Robbinsdale's second largest park and boarders Crystal Lake. It is 30 acres in size. LVT Park has several sports fields, playground equipment, a large picnic area, a picnic pavilion, several paths & trails and boat access. There is also a limited amount of space that can be rented for canoes, kayaks or paddle board storage May-October. For information on the canoe rack please click here.
Sanborn Park - 42nd Ave N. & Chowen Ave N.
Sanborn Park is 8.8-acres in size. This park features a picnic shelter and building/warming house, sport fields, playground, tennis court, 1/2 court basketball, picnic area, paths & trails, horseshoe court, concession stand, fishing dock, and outdoor ice rink during the winter season.
Manor Park - 3129 Abbott Ave N.
Manor Park is 3.8-acres in size. The park features a picnic shelter and building, sport fields, playground, tennis court, picnic area, paths & trails, and splash pad.
Lee Park - 3738 Lee Ave N.
Lee Park is 6.7-acres in size. This park features a picnic shelter, playground, sport fields, picnic area, paths & trails.
Spanjers Park - 4511 Lake Dr.
Spanjers Parks is 2.5-acres in size and is located right next to City Hall. This park features one large sports field.
Hollingsworth Park - 4237 Shoreline Dr.
Hollingsworth Park runs along Crystal Lake. The park is 4.4-acres in size and features picnic areas, a fishing dock (across from Sanborn Park), and paths & trails.
South Halifax Park - 3101 Halifax Ave N.
Halifax Park is 4-acres in size and features a playground, 1/2 court basketball, picnic area, and paths & trails.
Robbinsdale Middle School & Lakeview Elementary School
The parks located at the Robbinsdale Middle School and Lakeview Elementary are owned by the School District, but are within the City of Robbinsdale. The parks feature sport fields, paths & trails. Lakeview Elementary also has a playground.
Sochacki Park - 3500 June Ave N.
Sochacki is our largest park. It is 37.4 acres in size. This park features a dog park, picnic area, a pavilion, and paths & trails. Sochacki Park is operated under a partnership with the City of Golden Valley and Three Rivers Park District. Learn more about the park and partnership.
Triangle Park - Noble Ave. N & 40th Ave N
Triangle Park is 1-acre in size and features a few picnic tables, a small baseball field, a playground, and an open area for different activities.
Humphrey Park - 4545 Halifax Ave N.
Humphrey Park is 3.8-acres in size. This park features a picnic area, paths & trails.
Kelly Park - 4100 Xenia Ave N.
Kelly Park is 1.8-acres in size. This park features a playground, a 1/2 basketball court, a picnic area, a horseshoe court, and paths & trails.
Sunset Park - 3901 Crystal Lake Blvd.
Sunset Park is 0.8 of an acre in size. This park features a playground, a picnic area, and paths & trails.
Mielke Park - 4239 Halifax Ave. N
Mielke Park is 0.7 of an acre in size and features a picnic area.
Parkview Park - 2765 Parkview Park
Parkview Park is 0.3 of an acre in size and features a playground.
Graeser Park - West Broadway & Hwy. 100
Graeser Park is in the City of Robbinsdale and is maintained by the D.O.T. This park features a picnic area.
