There are no Charter Commission meetings currently scheduled.

The City of Robbinsdale Charter Commission consists of a minimum of 7 members to a maximum of 15 members with staggered 4-year terms and has its basis in City Charter rather than City Ordinance. Members are appointed by Council Resolution recommending qualified voters of the City to the Chief Judge of Hennepin District Court who makes the final appointment. The Charter Commission is required to meet at least once per year and must meet if requested to consider an amendment by Council Resolution or Petition of residents (equal to 5% of the votes cast at the last state general election in the City). The Charter Commission may also recommend amendments to the Robbinsdale City Charter to ensure that it remains a usable document which is consistent with state law.
