Officer Nathan Paulnock has been working for the Robbinsdale Police Department since early 2024. When asked why he works for the department, he says,
“It can be summed up to command staff letting us do Police work, as well as City management. They trust us and the department to keep residents safe, as well as those who come here on business or pleasure. This is due to the emphasis that the department has on training. This a great department to not only start at and get a foot in the door with, but to stay with for the rest of your career.”
Officer Jacob Mullen has been working for the Robbinsdale Police Department since 2023. When asked why he works for the department, he says,
“When I was looking for agencies to apply to, I didn’t want a big agency. So, it was about finding an agency that had a small-town feel, but also had some big city stuff to work on. I heard from a lot of people here that this is what the department is like. The support from staff is also great. We can be proactive, and we have the freedom to decide how we want to police and do community engagement.”
Officer Nick Fasching has been working for the Robbinsdale Police Department since 2022. When asked why he works for the department, he says,
“In other departments, you might have two to three times the number of Officers and admin staff, where you lose the personal relations and connections. The fact that I can go walk in my Chief’s office and just talk to him is great. You know everybody by first name and everyone is in the loop. If I worked somewhere else that wasn’t like this, I wouldn’t be half the cop that I am today.”
