HOW TO VOTE EARLY 

In Minnesota, you can vote early with an absentee ballot starting 46 days before Election Day. You can request an absentee ballot online, or call City Hall at 763-537-4534. Read about other options and more information about absentee voting at the links below.

You can vote early with an absentee ballot at City Hall, 4100 Lakeview Ave N. If you are not registered, you can do so in person if you show proof of residence.

Minnesota voters can now select a “Permanent Absentee Voter” option when registering to vote. An absentee ballot will be mailed to their address before each election. Register or re-register to select this option at https://mnvotes.sos.state.mn.us/.

You can vote in person at City Hall, or at the Hennepin County election office.

Absentee voting for the November 5, 2024, Election is available at City Hall, 4100 Lakeview Ave N, Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., beginning on September 20, 2024. Voting services at City Hall are for Robbinsdale residents only.

Extended hours for voting before Election Day at City Hall are available on the following days:

  • Saturday, October 26 (9:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, October 29, (8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
  • Saturday, November 2 (9:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m.)
  • Sunday, November 3 (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
  • Monday, November 4 (8:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m.)
