More than 450 members of the Robbinsdale community support renewable energy by subscribing to Xcel Energy's low-cost renewable energy programs. We challenge you to join your neighbors and subscribe to Renewable*Connect Flex today.

Let us know how you support renewable energy by joining the Renewable Robbinsdale Challenge. When you join the challenge, you'll be supporting renewable energy sources, which reduces carbon emissions and helps the City meet our Energy Action Plan goal to reduce energy use 30% by 2030!

BONUS: Anyone who joins the challenge will be featured on our website as a "Robbinsdale Renewable Energy Supporter."

Renewable energy is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint, but it's not the only way. We are also offering you free, energy-saving tips so you can reduce your carbon footprint even if your household isn't ready to sign up for renewable energy right now.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Step 1: Subscribe to Renewable*Connect Flex

Choose to source up to 100% of your home’s monthly electricity use from locally produced wind and solar energy with Xcel Energy’s Renewable*Connect Flex program. The cost ranges from $1 to $10 per month, depending on subscription amount and your home’s electricity use. Homeowners and renters alike can participate. To sign up, fill out the form at xcelenergy.com/renewableconnect.

Other ways to reduce your energy use:

There are many no-cost ways to reduce your household's energy consumption - and therefore your carbon footprint. Reducing your household's energy use can save money and is a great first step to take before investing in renewable energy.
