The City of Robbinsdale has a City Council-City Manager system, meaning the City Council formulates the city policy and the City Manager is responsible for city administration.

The governing body consists of four Council Members and a Mayor elected for staggered four-year terms. Other than residency, there are no specific qualifications that must be met to qualify for these offices.

Robbinsdale City Council generally meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held at the Robbinsdale City Hall (4100 Lakeview Avenue North).

All meetings are open to the public and are web-streamed and archived through our membership with Northwest Suburbs Cable Commission.
