Starting 6/5, Simple Recycling will begin a free bi-weekly pick-up service in Robbinsdale, on your normal garbage pick-up day. They have sent out orange plastic bags for the recycling of clothing, shoes and home goods. Since plastic is not good for the environment I contacted the company to see if they would consider using paper recycling bags, boxes or reusable bins. They said they will think about it. But for now we can can put out items in a box or paper bag with Simple Recycling written on it. AND, if you do that, please email them ahead a time so their drivers know and can expect to pick up items not in orange bags. Email email@example.com or call 866.835.5068.
